We are very proud of our pass rate and are determined to maintain this high level of success. The reason for our high success rate is our approach to bike riding. We aim for the highest possible score, rather than the minimum required to pass a bike test. Your safety and enjoyment of motorcycling is dependent on a solid foundation of good training; that is why we provide excellent facilities, and professional Instructors who are among the best in their field.

Beware of cheaper A2 courses! We've received complaints from a number of our CBT customers who have taken cheaper courses elsewhere and suffered poor standards of training and equipment. In some cases, they have had to start again and pay for a second course to pass their test. Please don't gamble with your motorcycle training and only book with a reputable school!
Due to the ever increasing expectations of the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Examiners, and customer requests for 'out of working hours' training, we have devised the following training schedules that meet all the various criteria.

The A2 or 'standard' motorcycle training course is designed to prepare candidates for their motorcycle practical test on a bike of between 121cc and 125cc and capable of at least 62.5mph.

This category of licence restricts the rider to operate machines of 33bhp, ride without L plates, carry passengers and ride on motorways. The restriction to full motorcycle entitlement is automatically removed after 2 years.

Our A2 Standard courses are designed for people who have passed their CBT and wish to progress onto larger bikes, carry passengers and ride on motorways. A2 training is of particular interest to riders under 21 years of age who are not eligible for the Direct Access Scheme (DAS).

Suitable for experienced riders already using the type of machine on which they wish to test i.e. manual or auto (subject to an assessment*). Course consists of 2 days training on a 125cc plus pre-test preparation, presentation for test and return on the half day.

Suitable for riders with less experience of the machine on which they want to test (subject to an assessment*). Course consists of 3 days on a 125cc machine plus pre-test preparation, presentation for test and return on the half day.

* The assessment can be conducted as part of a CBT course taken with us on the relevant machine (manual or auto), or a separate 20 minute assessment ride taken the relevant machine. A charge of Ł40 is made for the latter which is then refunded off your course cost (to stop joy riders!). N.B. Extra days may be added to the standard courses above where needed; the assessment is conducted by experienced instructors, both too little and too much training are counter-productive.
