Free Direct Access (DAS) and A2 Training Assessments

If you are interested in training for your Direct Access (DAS) or A2 Standard license with Getbike we would like to invite you along to a free assessment.

What is a free assessment?

The free assessment is designed to allow one of our senior instructors to get a snapshot of your riding abilities and experience and from this information they would be able to create a training package designed around your needs.

What bike will I be riding for my assessment?

The bike you are riding will depend on the license you would like to obtain. We have detailed the different bikes based on the different licence types below.

Direct Access (DAS)

• Honda CBF500

• Honda CB500

A2 Standard (Manual)

• Honda CG125

A2 Standard (Automatic)

• Honda Dylan 125

How long will the assessment last?

As the assessment is only designed to provide our instructor with an idea of your riding ability, it should only last 30 minutes – 1 hour.

Please confirm: You must have either a full UK or Northern Ireland Motorcycle Driving Licence, (if photo card style - must produce noth card and paper counterpart!. EU Motorcycle Licences must be accompanied by a UK counterpart.

You must have also passed your motorcycle theory test and be able to bring you pass certificate with you. If you fail to bring BOTH parts of your Driving Licence and your motorcycle theory test we will be unable to carry out your Free Assessment and you will be required to re-book.
