Learn to Ride a Geared Motorbike - Gear Conversion

Some people may have completed their CBT course on an automatic machine and simply fancy changing to a manual clutch and geared machine, others may have found that learning to ride a clutch and geared motorcycle was just too much for their first time and settled to learn one step at a time. Whatever your reasons, Getbike’s gear conversion class is a simple step up the ladder in machine control.

Again, like CBT the basics are covered on-site in a safe controlled environment with DSA approved instructors. We aim to complete the training with some on-road experience too.

This is one of our instructor’s favourite courses to deliver due to its flexibility.

Your CBT certificate doesn’t differentiate between automatic and geared machines; this course is a fun and safe way to upgrade to a geared machine.

Please confirm: You must have either a full UK or Northern Ireland Motorcycle Driving Licence, (if photo card style - must produce noth card and paper counterpart! EU Motorcycle Licences must be accompanied by a UK counterpart.

You must have also passed your CBT and be able to bring you pass certificate with you. If you fail to bring BOTH parts of your Driving Licence and your motorcycle theory test we will be unable to carry out your Gear Conversion and you will be required to pay full price to re-book.
